Guinness Ghana Breweries Plc is a subsidiary of Diageo Plc and is the only total beverage business in Ghana listed on the London, New York and Ghana Stock Exchange. Diageo produces and outstanding collection of over 200 brands and sold in over 180 countries. Diageo has operated in Ghana for almost 60 years. We directly employ over 1,000 and 10,000 indirectly. May be required to work outside Accra.

How our programme works:

Our programme is a three year adventure providing you with two to three rotations during which you’ll find yourself challenged and inspired to reach your full potential.? You’ll be introduced to many of our Diageo leaders globally so you can see how we operate around the world.  You’ll also enjoy the backing and support of a mentor and buddy who will give you an introduction to Diageo’s culture and help you successfully navigate your career.

What the programme offers to you?

Our customers are at the heart of everything we do in Sales and working in our Sales team’s means you’ll be immersed in our sales processes. You’ll spend time building relationships with Diageo partners and working with customers to maximise sales. You’ll be responsible for ensuring some of the most iconic brands in the world, such as Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Guinness and Baileys are successfully promoted, readily available and well presented to anyone who wants to buy them. It’s challenging, it’s diverse and it’s exciting. You’ll be exposed to the real business world, selling and discovering all you need to know about our brands, our competitors, the market and customers.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

  • A minimum Bachelor academic degree with 3.00 GPA minimum in any subject
  • Fluency in English
  • Completed National Service
  • Right to live and work in Ghana
  • Excellent numerical & analytical ability
  • Full and clean driver’s license where relevant for the role
  • Willing to relocate in or outside Ghana if opportunities arise
