The U.S. Mission in Accra, Ghana is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of Project Management Specialist (PMS) Agriculture and Trade in the Regional Economic Growth Office (REGO) of the USAID/West Africa.
The incumbent serves as a Project Management Specialist to implement key aspects of several Presidential Initiatives, including Trade Africa and Feed the Future, to promote trade and economic growth, and increase incomes and food security.
The applicant must possess in-depth knowledge of the regional agriculture, economic growth, and trade sectors, based on years of practical experience within a broad network of contacts in both government and industry, and will be able to build substantial partnerships to greatly enhance REGO's agriculture, food security, and trade programmes.

Education & Prior Work Experience:
Completion of bachelor's degree in business, economics, agriculture or related social science role and at least five (5) years of professional-level experience in a related role is required. Prior experience in project design, management, and implementation, of agriculture and trade programmes is required.
English fluent (level IV, speaking/reading/writing), French (level Ill, speaking/reading). Proficiency will be tested.
MARKET VALUE: GHS 127,803.00 — 191,724.00 equivalent to FSN-11 in accordance with AIDAR Appendix J and the US Embassy Ghana Local Compensation Plan.

The position is open to Cooperative Country Nationals (an individual who is a Ghanaian citizen — or a non-Ghanaian citizen lawfully admitted for permanent residence in Ghana. All applicants must provide proof of eligible citizenship in their application. Non-Ghanaian citizens must attach copies of their permanent residency permit to their application to be eligible for consideration. No relocation expenses are provided to the job location, Accra-Ghana. If transportation to Accra is required, it will be the employee's responsibility. Failure to provide the stated requirements will result in a determination that the applicant is not qualified.
