This role is responsible to create a value proposition and ecosystem and related benefits for the full range of mobile products, and solutions in Ghana, Ivory Coast and Cameroon
The marketing message is formulated and correctly positioned into the market to ensure movement of optimized volumes of product.
This is achieved through understanding the industry, competitor business and customer requirements and creating offerings that drive customer satisfaction and revenue. This role is also responsible for:
- Consistently achieving sales targets
- Market Share growth
- Channel Management and Growth
- Product Management
- Operational efficiency
- Leading the sales team through effective people management practices

A critical success factor to this role is relationship building skills and an ability to deal with a variety of complexities across the business, especially the unique culture and duality in executive organisational structures.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience required
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, business administration, economics or any other degree in management/social sciences
- A minimum of 10 years post-graduation experience in Mobile/Telecom industry with a minimum of five (5) of those years in a similar position
- Possession of an MBA will be an added advantage

Run the Division
- Plan and execute initiatives to increase sales of SEWA IM Division through the distributors
- Building and manage relationships with all distributors to ensure sustained mutually benefiting relationship with distributors
- Responsible for generating distributors sales forecasts (Volume, Value and ASP) and monitoring RDP
Lead the business
- Establish & maintain strategic relationships and opportunities for engagement with different distribution channels
- Monitor competing distributor’s status and proposing initiatives to enable SEWA IM distributors stay ahead of competition
- Ensure continuous value add services to client
- Identify and maximise retail merchandising opportunities

Innovate the business
- Always have an In-depth understanding of own products and competitor products in the market
- Identify and execute market research to obtain relevant information and share information in the business
- Compile and conduct product and technical presentations to potential business partners
Grow the business
- Ensure consistent growth in sales revenue
- Share knowledge and information continually with existing and new team members
- Self-development to stay abreast of latest developments in area of responsibility
Build the Business
- Build capacity within team to ensure succession is effective
- Be the public face of SEWA IM division, manage PR and Media relationships and interface
