Position Purpose & Summary
- He/She is responsible and accountable for the management of Finished Products and Consumables in the warehouse. That is both Inbound and outbound activities.
- He/She is responsible and accountable for the housekeeping of the Finished Product Warehose and the Chemical shed and coordination of pest control activities with service provider.
- He/she is responsible and accountable for the enforcement of all safety and security rules on-sight by third-party contractors and visistors during operations.
- He/she is responsible and accountable for daily, weekly and monthly reports of both Finished Products and Consumables.
- He/she is responsible and accountable for management of forklift, weighbridge and other equipments in the department.
- He/She is responsible and accountable for safe work in the warehouse, chemical shed and the weighbridge.

Principal Accountabilities
- 20% Enforce the safety, food safety, equipment safety, fire protection, security rules and takes all necessary actions to maintain a safe, food safety and secured environment.
- 15% Create picking list, check assembled products, approve and supervise stuffing to avoid product or lot swaps during loading of finished products and issue necessarydocumentation for shipment purposes.
- 15% Undertake weekly and monthly inventory of stock items and preparation of daily, weekly and monthly reports for both finished products and consumables and keep proper records.
- 15% Housekeeping, pest control monitoring and coordination with service providers in the warehouse and chemical shed.
- 5% Inspect and ensure that containers for stuffing are food grade and clean, treated and checklist completed before stuffing and also inspect trucks before unstuffing.
- 5% Daily reception, arrangement and storage of finished products and consumables in the warehouse.
- 5% Issuance and management of consumables to production and daily update of records and documentation.
- 5% Perform weekly interdepartmental reconciliations for finished products and consumables
- 5% Organize daily pep talk with team before start of work (IDEX)and weekly departmental meetings (IWEX)
- 5% Ensure good maintenance and equipment handling of forklifts,weighbridge and other equipments.
- 5% Ensure proper records and documentation of all activites in relation to Finished Products, Consumables and Equipment always.
Qualifications
- HND in statistics or Purchasing & Supply or its equivalent qualification or first degree in Statistics or Purchasing & Supply
- Must have a minimum of two (2) years work experience
- Must have the ability to analyze figures and have understanding of technical issues
- Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Stock management software)
- Must be a team player and keep a good intra and inter departmental working relationships
- Ability to observe Cargill policies and procedures in the area of health, safety, environmental and food safety
- Very good written and oral communication skills
- Must be a self motivator and have the ability to motivate others
