Supply Chain Finance Controller
The Supply Chain Finance Controller will contribute to all areas of manufacturing management and provide strong financial leadership. The Supply Chain Finance Controller is responsible for planning and coordinating plant budget and business planning activities in alignment with policies and practices. The incumbent will provide financial direction to the plant and provide recommendations to improve site performance.
Main Responsibilities
- Business Partner Ghana Factory teams, re: production direct & indirect costs; WCM; controls. Monitor and Control the factory conversion costs on an on-going basis.
- Control postings in site accounts ensuring validity and classification, plus commentaries.
- Provide variance analysis of actuals versus forecast and PY and deviations are fully understood and recorded.

- To investigate and implement corrective action to ensure that plans and WCM savings are delivered and that processes continually improve.
- Provide support to factory teams, regarding cost control, through regular meetings.
- Maintain cost center structures within SAP.
- Carry out monthly account’s discussions with the Factory managers where variance and Cost of production reports are presented and reviewed.
- Business Partner Logistics & Procurement Operations teams, as well as MSO planning.
- Monthly tracking and reporting Logistics costs and efficiencies.
- Actively manage all risks and opportunities to forecast delivery.
- Own material standard price process and communication.
- Partner with Category teams to advise on innovation projects, VIP projects and all financial matters related to the production line and local Supply Chain decisions.
- Manage all requests for capitalization of finished projects. Finance to lead the process with engineer during quarterly reviews.
- Balance Sheet and P&L integrity (SARBOX control) provide reconciliations and commentary.
Quality Officer
The purpose of the role is to coordinate the activities of the Quality team ensuring that the finished products comply to specifications and that the production processes meet the requirements of the food safety management system.
Main Responsibilities
- Working with operating staff to establish and implement procedures, standards and systems
- Apply quality standards and audits in accordance with the Food Safety Management System

- Ensure HACCP plan is always adhered to and coordinate HACCP Team activities
- Ensure all non-conformances are dealt with adequately as per internal procedures
- Develop and review quality documentation and draft quality assurance policies and procedures
- Quality systems auditing to assure compliance to GMP and support site audit readiness activities
- Interpret and implement quality assurance standards and procedures and enforce sampling procedures
- Responsible for document management systems for Upfield Ghana
- Review the implementation of quality and self-inspection systems and enforce sampling procedures
- Document internal audits and other quality assurance activities
- Investigates customer complaints and non-conformance issues; Recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions
- Collect and compile statistical quality data, prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
- Coordinate and support on-site audits conducted by external providers; evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements
IT Deployment Lead
The IT Deployment Lead will be responsible for all aspects related to the Regional deployment of Upfield’s new technology common environment for a period of 6 months. This role will lead, develop, plan and execute the chosen deployment model across Ghana & Nigeria. He / She will engage and connect the relevant stakeholders and represent the country and global needs.
This is a delivery focused role with pure focus on managing the partners to deliver on their contractual commitments and ensure successful deployment to the countries within the region. It is a hands-on role and requires determined tenancy and pragmatism whilst upholding global standards as well as demonstrating intrinsic co-ordination with both the business and the delivery partners to ensure a successful deployment in country.

About you!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
- 5+ years professional work experience
- 3+ years’ experience working in a Business Partnering / Analyst Role
- 3+ years project management experience
- 5+ years of experience in Stakeholder Management
- 15% - 30% regional travel required.
- Excellent communication skills, including direct customer interaction, ability to answer IT related questions.
- Organization and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts efficiently to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to work with a variety of customers from different departments in large and small groups.
- Strong personal initiative and ability to execute with minimal oversight.
- Experience working in a dynamic environment ‘wearing many hats’.
- Background working in an FMCG environment.
