Millar Cameron is the global leader in agricultural recruitment in emerging markets and we are supporting a leading forestry company. The business has operations across West Africa and is currently looking for a Human Resource Manager to join them in Ghana.
The Human Resource Manager’s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Designing employment contracts
- Assisting managers in implementing HR policies
- Administering payroll
- Recruitment – including composing job descriptions and interviewing
- Planning and training new staff
- Managing disciplinary procedures
- Carrying out performance appraisals
- Managing Industrial Relations
The ideal Human Resource Manager will have:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a Human Resources function
- Experience in planning personnel hiring
- Extensive experience in employment contracts
- Knowledge of Ghanaian employment laws
- Ideally experience in an agricultural environment
