The Faculty of Law, University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for appointment as Faculty Members.

Professor
The candidate must:
- Possess a PhD with specialisation in the particular areas of study listed above or a closely related academic area:
- Have considerable teaching experience in the relevant area of specialisation in a reputable tertiary institution;
- Have a strong research background and professional experience;
- Be recognised internationally on account of research carried out in the area of specialisation; and
- Have experience of and commitment to excellent teaching at the postgraduate and undergraduate levels.
Applicants should have a commitment to the advancement of research and scholarship, a willingness to learn new approaches and techniques and to be available for student supervision. Applicants should also be prepared to teach in the distance education mode.
Associate Professor
The candidate must:
- Possess a PHD with specialisation in the particular areas of study listed above or a closely related academic area ;
- Have considerable teaching experience in the relevant area of specialisation in a reputable tertiary institution;
- Have a strong research background and professional experience;
- Have a record of outstanding scholarship in the relevant area of study; and via. Experience of and commitment to excellent teaching at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
Applicants should have a commitment to the advancement of research and scholarship, a willingness to learn new approaches and techniques and to be available for student supervision. Applicants should also be prepared to teach in the distance education mode.
Senior Lecturer
The candidate must:
- Possess a PhD with specialisation in the particular area of study or a closely related academic area
- Have a strong research background and professional experience;
- Have at least four years teaching experience at the University level;
- Have carried out research and published articles in the relevant area in peer-reviewed journals; and
- Have a commitment to excellent teaching at the graduate and undergraduate
- Lecturer
Applicants should have a commitment to the advancement of research and scholarship, a willingness to learn new approaches and techniques and to be available for student supervision. Applicants should also be prepared to teach in the distance education mode.
Lecturer
The candidate must:
- Possess a PhD with specialisation in one or more of the areas of study listed above;
- Have some professional experience in the specific area;
- Have demonstrated potential and interest to conduct research and to excel in teaching; and
- Have a commitment to excellent teaching at the graduate and undergraduate
