An exciting job offer exists in Voltic (GH) Limited for a Quality Assurance Technologist, GMP Technologist. Voltic (GH) Limited, has been known for manufacturing of the leading premium water brand in Ghana for over two decades. Currently, Voltic (GH) Limited has expanded its portfolio to cover alcoholic beverages, carbonated soft drinks, Juices and Value-Added Dairies. This role reports to the SHEQ Manager in the Manufacturing Function. The job incumbent is to ensure GMP standards are met on total site and ensure product hygiene standards are maintained.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Carry out microbiological tests.
- Identify swabbing areas
- Draft/develop sampling plan
- Prepare lab equipment for micro testing
- Do micro sampling
- Do micro plating
- Read, record & report micro results
- Do trend analyses on micro results
- Assist operational staff with resolution of micro issues

Perform GMP audits
- Conduct weekly audits & inspection
- Report & record issues & corrective action from surveys
- Manage pest control programme
Monitored plant CIP routines
- Do CIP verification titrations
- Ensure CIP schedule is followed to the letter
- Communicate non-conformances to relevant parties
Judgement and decision making
- Agile in thinking and nimble in decision making
- Adept at discerning and balancing the most important priorities (simplifies complexity)
- Simplifies the decision making process for self and others
- Efficiently applies rigour and operating discipline to ensure decisions are made on a timely basis
- Exhibits high level of commercial pragmatism and prudent commercial judgment
- Thrives in ambiguity and effectively applies sound intuition/judgment
- Assesses and makes clear trade-offs when making critical decisions
- Applies a broad base of knowledge and experience to solve complex issues

Qualifications
- Minimum requirement: Diploma in Food Technology or Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology
- Added advantage: Honours degree - Food Technology and/or Microbiology
Experience
Minimum 2 years in food processing plant as Microbiologist
