Job Description
As Finance Director, you will be looking after the upstream activities in Ghana. Reporting directly to the General Manager and to the Group CFO your responsibilities will include:
- developing an international finance & administration team, managing all financial and operational reporting and controls,
- providing leadership and responsibility for the financial reporting, ensuring integrity of all financial information, particularly JV accounting, budgeting and cash management,
- advising the operational team on the development of strategic financial plans for rapid operational expansion and improvements.
- managing external relationships with banks, tax and regulatory authorities, clients and suppliers.
The Successful Applicant
- The successful candidate will be ideally a motivated qualified accountant with international experience in the Oil&Gas industry.
- Able to work in an entrepreneurial, energetic and fast moving environment, they will demonstrate a background of tight financial and administration management, board level interaction combined with excellent presentation skills, a hands-on attitude and a willingness to immerse themselves in detail.
- Fluency in English is essential to succeed in this role.
