The Ghana Audit Service is currently recruiting people with the under-listed qualifications and competencies to fill the vacant positions available in its offices across the country (Ghana) as Assistant Auditor under Regularity Audit.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Maintain adequate current audit file (working papers) for review by the Unit leader at the end of the audit;
  • Prepare audit observations are prepared and supported with adequate working papers for submission to the Unit Leader;
  • Accomplish tasks to meet deadlines; and
  • Undertake any other job that may be assigned by the Team Leader, Branch Head or District Auditor.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A first Degree in Accounting from an accredited tertiary institution,
  • A second Degree in Accounting or auditing or finance from an accredited tertiary institution,

  • A partly qualified in ICAG, ACCA and CIMA (Level 1 or 2)
  • National Service Certificate.

  • Collaborate with the Unit Head to draft audit report supported with adequate working papers for submission to the Branch Heads/District Auditor;
