KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Advise Executive Management and Board on all legal matters involving the company;
- Prepare and file writs, pleadings, submissions, statements of cases, witness statements and other court processes for and against the company;
- Represent the company in court and other fora such as Labour Commission, CHRAJ among others as and when needed;
- Draft and review legal correspondences, contracts and agreements for and on behalf of the company and ensure compliance with legal obligations;
- Assist in the formulation, implementation and amendment of the company's intemal policies.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor of Law & Barrister-at-Law (LLB, BL)
- Must be on the Roll of Lawyers and in good standing at the Bar
- High moral character with proven integrity
- Must be proficient in ICT
- A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience with five years of administrative experience in a managerial position.
- Knowledge in banking will be an added advantage.
