An exciting job offer exists in Voltic (GH) Limited for a Team Leader. Voltic (GH) Limited, has been known for manufacturing of the leading premium water brand in Ghana for over two decades. Currently, Voltic (GH) Limited has expanded its portfolio to cover alcoholic beverages, carbonated soft drinks, Juices and Value-Added Dairies. This role reports to the Unit Manager, Utilities in the Manufacturing Function. The job incumbent acts as a point of contact towards the internal customer for procurement related questions, manages local purchasing requests in collaboration with the sourcing and category management organisation and guarantees efficient contracts implementation and acceptance on site, related to one or several sites.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Liaised with stores on Items to be raised into SAP
- Checks requisitions raised through SAP.
- Process and adjudicate Requisitions.
- Capture approved PFIs in SAP for Approval.
- Follow up on SAP approvals
- Consolidates purchase orders(P.O)
- Send P.O to supplier with delivery schedules.
- Review P.Os

- To check non delivered items.
- To close P.Os delivered.
- Expedite delivery to site (Foreign & Local)
- Match P.Os with delivery notes.
- Solve invoice discrepancies with Finance & suppliers. If any.
- Yearly review of suppliers performance

- Exemplifying excellent customer service skills.
- Giving effective professional advice to meet identified needs of the client/customer.
- Meeting as well as working under deadlines; setting high standards for one.
- Problem solving and time management skills; meeting as well as working under deadlines; goal setting based on priorities.
- Recognizing the “people” aspect of issues and the need for positive relationships; produces good results through interaction with others.
Skills, Experience & Education
- Degree in Procurement Management / Preferably graduate with Economic /technically oriented
- Good leadership potential
- Good Knowledge in procurement processes and techniques
- Familiarity with Procurement Practices and Procedures
- Influencing ability with regards to sound maintenance practices.
