Overview of Genser Energy Ghana-Genser Energy Holdings Inc. is an Independent Power Producer (IPP) based in the British Virgin Islands with operations in Africa. It specializes in providing custom engineered turn-key distributed generation energy solutions for clients in the mining, manufacturing, and utilities. Genser engages in engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) as well as operation and maintenance (O&M) of its power generation plants and sells electricity and/or steam to clients. Each project is financed and owned by a country-level subsidiary in Africa.
Supply Chain Superintendent Primary Pipeline Responsibilities-The candidate will be responsible for working with the Supply Chain Manager on a wide variety of tasks related to Primary Pipeline project including but not limited to contract administration, logistics system administration, planning and analysis, inventory control, communication and management. As well, the position will focus on leading supply chain on the Gas Turbinesproject in conjunction with EPC and the FEED Team, to provide and manage project related materials and resources for the project. Responsibilities include:
Contract Administration and Communication – Draft and Review all supply chain related contracts with Engineering, Procurement and Construction, Legal & Compliance and Finance teams

- Maintain clear and consistent communication with suppliers, vendors, and shipping contacts throughout the procurement lifecycle
- Proactively engage suppliers in identifying potential issues, resolutions and opportunities
- Develop communication solutions that create value, decrease problems and preemptively solve consistent issues
Logistics System and Administration – Source, select and evaluate logistics means for local and foreign materials and equipment as well as company workers
- Ensure that appropriate import and export compliance procedures are followed by employees and contracted service providers
- Plan and execute industry standard policies related to quality, safety, and process improvements
Planning and Analysis – Develop and maintain various supply chain plans and strategies
- Optimize operational resources while executing cost reductions and inventory controls
- Execute demand flow verification processes, engage in short- and long-term planning and conduct inventory analyses for warehouse utilization and coordination
Inventory Control – Support growth objectives through the development of concise metrics and reporting functions
- Maintain a total cost perspective with a lean mindset
- Oversee the inventory of materials and equipment for the project
- Liaise with Contractor to manage the inventory for the project
Management – Manage labor, inventory levels, data accuracy and stocking strategies.
- Create and maintain safety work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Implement strategies to improve service quality, employee efficiency, equipment performance and interdepartmental communication
- Generate weekly report on Supply Chain activities at site to the Supply Chain Manager
Candidate Qualification –
- Bsc in Engineering- Electrical/Mechanical/Materials. MSc a plus with 10+ years experience in supply chain on projects or related field.
- Experience in planning and budgeting and High working knowledge of Excel and fluency in English compulsory, both oral and written
