A reputable educational institution seeks the services of an experienced and hardworking individual to join its finance and accounts team.
Job Title: Reconciliation Officer
Job Description:
- Prepare bank reconciliation statements for all the institutions bank accounts
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders where necessary in order to investigate and clear all outstanding issues
- Ensure that all inter-company or interbank transactions are properly investigated and necessary action taken in order to produce a cleaner reconciliation statement
- Ensure that reconciliation statements for all the banks are submitted for review not later than 10th of the ensuring month
- Contribute to the teams effort by accomplishing other related task as assigned
Qualification Required & Experience
- Minimum qualification: Degree / HND
- At least 3 – 5 years work experience in similar capacity
- Excellent knowledge in accounting, especially double entry system
- Good knowledge in Microsoft excel
- Analytical and investigate skills
