SAIC is seeking a Senior Subject Matter Expert - Medical in support of our GPOI mission in Ghana.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The PSO Senior Subject Matter Expert – Medical will be the Team Lead’s principal mentor for GAF-led medical training.
- The PSO Senior Subject Matter Expert – Medical will mentor, advise and assist GAF trainers conducting FMT and CLS training to battalions deploying to MONUSCO and UNMISS IAW with learning objectives and outcomes specified in the SOW.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
The Senior SME (medical) shall have the following education, experience, and military background:
- Minimum of ten (10) years U.S. or foreign military medical occupational specialty experience.
- Minimum Emergency Medical Technician (Basic) qualification.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a trauma hospital or conducting triage operations during PKOs or disaster relief operations.
- Experience as a trainer to a foreign security partner with directly related experience in medical capacity building.
- Experience working in sub-Saharan Africa.
