Nestlé CWAR is currently looking for a Head of Digital who will work with brands and countries to transform our digital strategy for the Central West African Region (25 Countries).
This position reports to the Head of Consumer Communications.
A day in the life of…
- Responsible for overall digital strategy direction for the region, including digital marketing and digital CRM.
- Evaluate digital competitive landscape, including market conditions and competitor data. Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.
- As an expert for all digital platforms, provide strong advice & guidance in the area of digital marketing.
- Build digital knowledge for Brand and commercial teams
- Responsible for digital insights and translating them into action by developing digital and social media objectives, strategy and plans aligned to brand strategies.
- In partnership with our digital agencies, develop strategies to drive online traffic. Utilize a range of techniques including paid search, SEO and PPC.
- Close working with regional brand teams, Countries and our head office in Switzerland.
- Develop and track KPIs of all digital assets. Evaluate effectiveness of digital activities and lead improvement initiatives.
- Lead discussion and manage senior relationships with digital agencies and suppliers (e.g Google, Facebook)
What will make you successful
- Good Bachelor degree
- Strong understanding of current online marketing concepts, strategy and best practices.
- Experience in Online Marketing, Mobile Marketing, and Social Media.
- Previous experience in brand management and a similar digital marketing role.
- Candidate should understand the local digital context.
- Must have been exposed to working with either online retailers (Amazon, Ebay), FMCG companies as well as social media companies (Whatsapp, Facebook messenger)
- Experience working outside of Ghana or the rest of Africa is a must
- Language – Ideally French and English speaking, however will consider candidates who are not French speaking
- Strong relationship building , communication and presentation capabilities, ability to learn and gain rapport easily and quickly
