Aqua Safari Resort has set in train a process to employ a professional Accountant into its expanded Finance Department
The job holder should be capable of performing the following functions:
- Performing reconciliations (cash, banks and investments)
- Documentation of varied financial transactions and entering accounts information Preparation of accurate, timely and reliable financial reporting in accordance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
- Preparation and processing of invoices to ensure accurate recording of payments.
- Monitoring and coordinating receivables.
- Involvement in budgeting planning and processes.
- Assisting external auditors in statutory audits.
Required Skills or Experience
- At least two (2) years' experience preferably In the Hotel industry.
- A degree in Accounting and/or Finance
- Professional qualifications-ACCA/ICA would be an added advantage.
Other Attributes:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate with several stakeholders at all times.
- A solution-oriented personality and a creative problem solver.
- Computer literate with expertise in Excel and contemporary accounting software.
