An Organization (Client) seeks the services of competent and experienced individuals for the following position: Storekeeper/Procurement Officer
- Job Location: Eastern Region/Kwahu
- Employment Type: Contract (6months)
- Report To: Project Director
Job Responsibilities
- Check the quality of materials before taken in to stock
- Ensure proper storage of materials
- Maintenance of stock register of materials
- Ensure store up keep and Management
- Ensure all raw materials and semi-finished items for construction meets the specification as per the quality plan of the organization
- To ensure all materials received are stored properly and issued according to the proper requisition from the Project Director
- Ensure all items are verified as per purchase order for any physical damage or deterioration during transportation.
- Ensure monthly stock verification is conducted
- Materials used for sub contracted work is verified as per procedure for receiving inspection even if purchased by subcontractor.
Required Skills or Experience
- Minimum of Masters/Bachelors Degree in Procurement, B. Com or any related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in store handling of a construction-based industry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required.
- Excellent team player skills and the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse workforce.
- Ability to work under Pressure
- Flexible and adaptable
