ROLE PURPOSE:
- Translate customers’ communications requirements into technical solutions.
- Coordinate technical inputs to the bid process.
- Work with Technology function to ensure that proposed technical solutions can be delivered.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Work as part of the virtual account team, identifying customers’ communications requirements and developing technical solutions
- Work with the technology groups to ensure that technical proposals can be supported or delivered
- Provide detailed written technical specifications for technology and IT Groups as well as written technical specifications for customer proposals and bid documents
- Implement Vodafone Ghana quality management procedures within the sales engineering team, ensuring full compliance on a day-to-day basis
- Give technical presentations to customers, as requested by account partners and Identify appropriate performance KPI targets and measures for the proposed technical solution.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- University Degree telecommunications engineering / IT
- Strong project management experience and familiar with project management methodology and processes
- Actively support the achievement of Enterprise Sales targets for revenue, profits and customer satisfaction
- Experience of developing and implementing standard technical communications solutions in an enterprise solutions market
- Analytical thinker who can plan/execute action to exploit business opportunities
