Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Executive Assistant Duties
- Create, produce, receive, prioritize and track all internal and external correspondence for the CEO.
- Utilize existing filing system to maximize effectiveness (electronic and hard copies)
- Screen calls and appointments requests for the CEO to maximize efficiency
- Manage the CEO’s diary.
- Assist the CEO with the development of Communications proposals and strategies
- Produce briefing papers, reports and presentations in support of CEO’s work.
- Carry out background research and present findings into subjects the CEO is dealing with
- Prepare meeting agendas, perform research for meetings, and take minutes during meetings
- Arrange travel and accommodation for the CEO’s Travels.
Board secretarial duties
- Communicate with Board Members, schedule Board Meetings
- Draw up meeting agendas and take meeting minutes
- Follow up with Project Management on board deliverables
Support with CEO digital communications
- Develop CEO’s Social Media strategies
- Develop content to be posted onto the accounts
- Monitor and report on Social media account activities
- Undertake any other duties that may be assigned to you from time to time.
Required Skills or Experience
- 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- A good first degree in Administration, Management Studies, Secretaryship or related discipline.
- Significant working experience in Office Procedures.
- Working knowledge of research will be an advantage.
- Report writing skills essential.
- Presentational skills required.
- Must be willing to work for long hours
