Job Description
Report to: Head of Retail Market
Job Objective:
- The Sales Manager will oversee Business Executives (Sales Agents) and provide excellent and efficient service to clients and stakeholders by managing relationships and also prospecting/selling Hollard Insurance policies to existing and prospective clients in the catchment area.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Achieve and exceed growth and sales targets for the Ring Road Office
- Prospect for clients and carry out presentations on company’s products and services
- Implement sales objectives, initiatives, strategies and programs for the office
- Lead and manage business executives and other stakeholders
- Recruit, train and monitor the performance of business executives
- Provide field support for business executives as they generate leads and close new deals
- Assist with customer service duties
- Resolve concerns and complaints of business executives and other allied agents
- Improve skills of business executives and grow them to become team leaders and sales managers
- Comply with corporate governance and company policies and procedures
- Ensure effective management of Human Resource activities including the management of business executives /agents in catchment are
Required Skills or Experience
- University Degree
- At least six (6) years’ experience in team/branch management
- Experience in sales and relationship management skills
- Ability to lead and deliver on promise
- Good communication skills (including writing and presentation skills)
- Good computer skills especially in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
