An Oil Marketing Company located in Accra with operations structured to include the Distribution, Storage, Marketing, Sale of Petroleum Products and Petroleum related products via a network of Retail Outlets and bulk customers around the country is looking for candidates to filling the position below
HEAD OF OPERATIONS AND MARKETING
Department : Operations and Marketing
Location : Accra
Reporting to General Manager
Salary: Competitive
Potential Start Date: June 2019
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES (KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS).
RETAILER RELATIONS
- Coordinate the recruitment of right calibre of Retailers / Dealers for the zone
- Ensure the executron by the Retailer/Dealer contract(s) that cover the operatron of the Site and ensure it IS valid at all tmes
- Perform regular dealer appraisals to ensure continuous good performance supported by appropriate working capttaf where applicable.
- Ensure the competency development of Retailer/Dealer through competence assessment and ensure effective support for site staff tranng on a regular basis.
- Liaise wth the General Manager to agree on annual tasks and targets and ensure such targets are achieved.
CUSTOMER SERVICE CORDINATlON / MARKETlNG / BUSiNESS DEVELOPMENT
- Ensure efficient Credit management and controls are in place and in line with agreed terms and liaising with Retail Officer to ensure effective handling of payment orders. payments and maintenance calls from dealers.
- Liase With Engineering to ensure efficient and effective engineering solutions for maintenance and projects related to existing Sites and commercial customers within the zone as well as efficient supply of products.
- Report on competitor activity, negotiate prices, discounts within the zone to enhance the competitive operation of the business in the zone.
- Llase with Territory Manager to achieve all set volumetric targets for the c.omrneraal and retail sector.
- Ensure excellent customer care, arrange appropriate product knowledge for customers and develop good business relationship
- With sector customers in order to enhance company image and ensure long.te'm loyalty.
- Peforrn any other duties that may be assigned by the General
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES
Experience: Must have a mjmmum of 2 years experience in similar industry
Knowledge:
- Understanding of NPA Pricing Structure
- Understanding of the fundamentals of OMC business
- Good analytical skills
- Knowledge of basic HSEQ standards
Skills & Attributes:
- Ability to work With little or no supemsion, work seamlessly With a team and a self-starter
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent timo management skills and Customer service oriented.
