Legal Officer (Senior Assistant Registrar)
Category and Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Must have master's degree in law

- Must be a practising lawyer for not less than five years
- Must be computer literate
- Must have good human relations
- Must demonstrate evidence of ability to write minutes and reports
Duties and Responsibilities
- Representing the University in court on legal issues
- Advising Management of the University on all legal related issues
- Developing and maintaining comprehensive data on all legal cases of the University
- Helping the Registrar to draft Memorandums of Understanding on partnership agreements between the University and other partner organisations
- Serving as secretary to Boards and Committees on behalf of the Registrar
- Organising and facilitating meetings
- Writing of minutes and reports
- Performing any other duty as assigned by the Registrar or his/her representative
