A reputable European company in the Telecomunication industry with subsidiaries in multiple African countries and in the USA; offering high quality and personalized telecommunication services such as SD-WAN, IP transit, IPLC, MPLS VPNs, E-LAN & IP VPN, DIA, Managed Sevices & Colocation and Cloud Services as well as IaaS; is seeking the services of an experienced Business Developer who will be responsible for building relationships with new clients, bringing new business for the company, managing accounts and acting as a Service Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- On-boarding of new clients and development of new sales with existing clients.

- Researching the target market and finding new companies, build a sales pipeline and negotiating prices according to the profitability of the Project.
- Be the face of the company by attending meetings with potential clients and making sales presentations to high-level executives to establish business relationss.
- Entering all required data onto the company CRM system, and processing all requests.
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward Clients at all times.
- Communicating with customers through various channels as well as responding promptly to customer inquiries.
- Demonstrating superior company product knowledge, acknowledging and resolving all customer complaints by answering all questions relating to the company, its products & services.
- Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
- Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
- Developing customer satisfaction goals and coordinate with the team to meet them on a steady basis as well as implementing an effective customer loyalty program.
- Assessing service statistics and prepare detailed reports on findings.

Required Skills or Experience
- Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or Business Developer, preferably in a telecom / ISP / utilities company, dealing with corporate segment.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, that allow you to inform, help and advise customers clearly and to liaise effectively with other professionals
- Listening skills, to understand exactly what customers require.
- Knowledge of the industry procedures
- Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
- Confidence, patience, politeness, tact and diplomacy, when dealing with difficult situations
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure with little or no supervision
- A minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in a customer service position and business development.
- Good understanding of management practices and techniques.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or relevant field (preferably, not mandatory)
- Telecom/Electronics Engineering (preferably, not mandatory)
- Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of any ERP, preferably Odoo.
LANGUAGE
- English
- French, desirable.
