Working for an ethical social impact investor with offices in both the UK and Africa, your experience as an Investment Manager is required to help the company invest responsibly in a varied portfolio of projects across West Africa. You will get the opportunity to lead the process from inception right through to completion, taking control at various stages and really owning the process.
From the initial screening of opportunities, you will then lead commercial negotiations, carry out due diligence of investment opportunities and providing on going management and evaluation of the investments, so your sound analytical skills will be put to the test, together with your financial modelling skills and the ability to forge strong strategic relationships with donors and investees. To hit the ground running, you'll have previous experience in the agribusiness sector and in particular West Africa and your English will be strong. French is a bonus but not essential and re location, West Africa is the preference but for the right person, London is an option (as you can appreciate, extensive travel will be required should you be based in London).
