The Procurement and Fleet Manager is responsible for enhancing business systems i e. fleet and procurement managenent systems for the MSIG support office, ensuring the four (4) regional offices and the MSIG clinics/centres (8 clinics) are functioning properly.
The Procurement and Fleet Manager will be a product savvy professional who has extensive experience in both procurelnent and fleet management and work closely and collaboratively with other teams. The Procurement and Fleet Manager will focus on our internal and external procurement and fleet management
relations, interacting with suppliers and ensure that these are managed effectively.
The post is based in Accra and requires travel to all MSIG Regional offices. He /She reports to the Director, Human Resource, Administration and Organisation.
Length of contract: one (1) year contract

Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute improved procurement strategies across all channels of purchasing/procurement
- Ensure the development and completion of procurement manual and implement procedures to meet MSI procurement standards
- Delegate tasks and supervise the work of procurement officers and ensure they are following the agreed standards and providing supports as agreed across all departments
- Manage every aspect of supply chain and notity senior procurement efficiency
- Institute policjcs and procedures collecting and reporting key metrics thal will reduce overall expenses while increasing productivity
- Perform proeutement cost analysis and set appropriatee benchmarks
- Ensure procurement team is coordinating procurement deliveries with support from stores and the right procured items are received stores
- Iead the fleet management systemtteam to function effectively
- Provide and ensure state-of-the-art fleet management and vehicle tracking is installed, maintained and used for decision taking
- Ensure that relevant technology and other innovations in the business are in place to drive efficient systems and optimise operational performance
- Any other duties that may come up.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fleet
- Management, Supply Chain Management or Health Sciences or similar
- Postgraduate qualification is desirable
- Knowledge of procurement, logistics and fleet management
- Other professional qualifications, ideally in Project
- Management or Faci lities Management will be an advantage
- Certificate in Accounting will be an advantage
- 6+ years' experience in procurement or purchasing
- 4+ years' experience in medical supply management preferred
- 4 years' experience in fleet management
- Excellent managerial and training skills
Experience/Skills
The candidate must have;
- A minimum of Six (6) years ot- relevant post-graduation work experience and at least three (3) years of high-level managerial experience in either procurement or fleet management.
- Experience in managing fleei or business units;
- Experience managing procurement related activities such as issuing and managing contracts
- Experience in rolling out new business systems that generate efficiencies
- Experience of managing crises in a high risk environment, including legal components dealing with contractors and suppliers
- Computer literate and able to work on own initiative and at long periods
- Experience in working iOr and with NGOs (or multilateral or bilateral agencies such as the UN); specified experience working with internalional NGOs
- Must be pro-choice
