GrowthAid is a not-for-profit non-governmental organisation which exists to provide development support and direct services to organisations and communities to improve the situation of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and contributes towards the elimination of neglected tropical diseases (NTDs). We support systems strengthening and capacity development initiatives, development planning and management, action research, modelling, learning and knowledge management, monitoring and evaluation. We partner organisations to provide sustainable water and sanitation facilities in poor communities.
GrowthAid is looking for passionate humanitarians who share in our vision and values to fill the following positions. All the positions are located in Tema, Greater Accra.
Programmes Officer
Position Summary
The holder has responsibility for operational programme development and for coordinating the activities of GrowthAid's project activities which support broader programmes managed. He /she works with the Head of Operations and in allocating resources, ensuring adherence to schedules, qualitv/standards and monitoring budgets to assure value for money and project sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
Planning and programming
- Support implementing partners (IP) in implementing a participatory monitoring system that ensures that M&E information collected is analysed and used to review and update the system
- Support preparation of concise & professionally sound donor specific project reports
- Provide support to partner organisations for regular documentation and sharing of best practice and field expenences among partners, GrowthAid's staff and
relevant sector actor/agencies
- Provide support to fundraising efforts, including identification of WASH needs and those related to NTDs at the community level
- Prepare & develop material and special reports based on fieid activities for case studies and document how they impact on policy
Representation and Advocacy
- Represent GrowthAid at external fora (government and non-government) and through that promote visibility of GrowthAid
- Support GrowthAid's partnership and advocacy drive Promoting learning and best use of technology
- Contributjng to internal and external knowledge participates in knowledge development/ groups and in external networks.
- Participating in cross-learning across GrowthAid country Programme and other sector networks
