A reputable non-bank financial institution is seeking a suitably qualified person to recruit as a Finance Officer to provide technical support in the preparation of accounts and financial reports.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with financial analysis and report writing.
- Assist with the preparation of final account.
- Assist with the preparation of annual budget.
- Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statement for assigned banks.

- Assist with the preparation Of payment vouchers.
- Assist with the provision of needed information for internal and external audit
- Assist with the preparation of periodic returns to the Regulator.
- Assist with analysis and evaluation of investment portfolio.
Competencies:
- Ability to cope with work and time pressure.
- Ability to pay attention to and analyse detail without getting bogged down.
- Good report writing skills.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must be a team player.
- Ability to organise and execute work to meet tight deadlines.
Qualification and Experience:
- First degree in Accounting from an accredited tertiary institution. Chartered Accountant (ACCA, CA, CIMA).
- Minimum of three (3) years' post qualification experience.
- Experience in Insurance industry will be an advantage.
- MBA will be an added advantage.
