Every year, 4 billion products from our client are consumed throughout the African continent. Our client is actively present in Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, CIS Republics, 30 countries in Africa and the Middle East.

They currently have an opening for Regional Organization & Processes Manager (FMCG) - Accra

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the applications and business processes that run our client's business day to day. You are the team player who ensures that assigned projects (mainly SAP, but not only) are completed in time, budget and expected quality, and applies defined standard methodologies to manage scope, risk, issues and communication throughout the entire project life cycle. With your effective communication style you ensure the alignment of business process leads and key users.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping to manage the regional resources (mainly external SAP maintenance team) coordinate with the global IT and Organization & Process sector.

We are searching for a positive and a proactive person, willing to do new things and to growth in our company. Managing Organization & Process needs and goals for our Africa business, innovating and instigating changes, making them sustainable.

Requirements

  • University degree in Computer science, Telecommunications or related education background.
  • 5+ years’ experience as SAP consultant (FI, SD, MM or PP).
  • 3+ years of experience as project manager of small to medium size project (SAP implementation and roll-out).
  • Experience of working within complex organizations, engaging with both local and corporate functions.
  • Ability to distinguish between technical and process problems and/or solutions.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint to identify, solve and communicate results.
  • Experience interfacing with consulting resources to solve business issues.
  • Effectively work with technical and business people.
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written, knowledge of French a plus.
  • Geographically mobile - Travel around Africa.

Regional Project Pipeline Management: 

  • Capture regional project demand: business needs, challenges and opportunities.
  • Communicate with internal and external business partners effectively.
  • Oversee all aspects (budget, timelines, scope and risks) of all regional projects; Prepare report for management regarding project status within region (internal customers) and corporate Organization & IT.

Project Management:

  • Elaborate project timeline and organizational structure.
  • Manage project budget and Capex Approval Process.
  • Liaise and engage with project team members, business management and other internal and external stakeholders about projects’ updates and expectations.
  • Create internal documentation for business processes.
  • Preparation, conduction and facilitation of Kick Off meetings and Steercom meetings.
  • Proactive assessment of project risks and initiation of risk mitigation measures.
  • Manage the availability of project resources and external project consultants including time sheet control and invoice review.

Application Maintenance:

  • Coordinate day to day support to end users of business applications; This includes alignment with corporate application maintenance (corrective and improvement).
  • Prepare report for management regarding application maintenance service status within region.

Others:

Regional business applications suppliers management: screening, follow-up, negotiation, etc.

Added Advantages:

  • Experience in FMCG sector.
  • Certificates in Project Management (PMP, agile or similar) or Service Management (ITIL or similar).
  • Analytical skills.

  • Detail oriented with pro-active attitude.
  • Rigorous with information management.
