A reputable finance house seeks to recruit persons to the below: Head of Finance & Systems
Job Description
• Analysing changes within the financial services industry at large and advising management accordingly
• Formulating strategic and long – term business plans
• Developing financial management mechanisms that minimizes financial risk
• Liaising with auditors and the Bank of Ghana on all statutory and regulatory issues
• Producing executive management report to the Board of Directors
• Supervise the preparation and management of budgets
• Develop external relationships with appropriate contact e.g auditors, the bankers and statutory organizations such as the GRA & SSNIT
• Arrange new sources of finance for a company’s debt facilities
• Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation
• Manage information technology and computer systems
• Ensure the planning, organizing and evaluating IT and electronic data

• Ensure IT act in alignment with user needs and systems for functionality to contribute to organisation policy
• Ensure security of data, network access and systems and backup systems
• Ensure preservation of assets, information security and control structures
Qualification Required & Experience
• A good first degree
• Must have a qualified Accounting certification
• A certificate or exposure in IT is preferred
• A minimum of 8 years experience in financial services
• Must have working knowledge in the use of ERPs
• Networking & hardware exposure is required
• Database management exposure is required
• Functional knowledge of the IFRS and Bank of Ghana reporting guidelines
• Good understanding of Economics & strategic position for not less than 5 years
