Main Purpose
Primary role will be to lead in the management of the facility and provide excellent service and advice to customers.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy
- Dispense medications in an accurate and timely manner
- Work with Technicians and Pharmacy Assistants to deliver excellent customer service
- Deliver health promotion programs as required
- Ensure that all pharmacy operations are conducted in accordance with pharmacy policies and procedures, legal requirements and Quality Care Pharmacy Standards
- Ensures proper storage of all medications including refrigerated items
- Supervise inventory control of pharmacy stock to an acceptable turnover in order to minimize the amount of expired drugs
- Provide drug information, including adverse drug reactions and contraindications to clients
- Supervise monthly physical inventory process
Required Skills or Experience
- Bachelor of Pharmacy holder from a recognized University
- Minimum of two (2) years registration as a Pharmacist with the Ghana Pharmacy Council
- Experience: Experience in community pharmacy, possesses administrative and management skills.
