Key Responsibilities
- Implements occupational hygiene monitoring programs and identify occupational hygiene issues for FPSO. Coordinates relevant surveys assessments and training session’s requirements.
- Plans and leads Management HSEQ Field audits for FPSO to ensure compliance with the MODEC HSEQ Standard and ensures that the audit findings are reported to management and acted upon.
- Monitors trends on HSEQ and ensures that the organisation is learning from the trends and implementing the appropriate actions to improve the systems and overall performance to FPSO Prof. John Evans Atta Mills.
- Monitors Operations Environmental Plans for FPSO and advises on environmental issues, waste disposal and recycling programs.
Educational Qualification:
- 5 years of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.
- 3 years of supervisory experience in the field of health, safety, and environment.
- A sound understanding of MODEC's HSEQ Management System, Safety case requirements, and Risk assessment.
- Proficiency in supervising safety, health, and environment functions of an operational nature.
- Experience in administering safety and health related training programs.
- Experience in auditing (i.e. HSEQ systems, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and ISO 9001).
- PC Skills including proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet and database.
- Qualified to Minimum NEBOSH International General Certificate.
- Graduate in Bachelors degree.
