Job Title: Assistant Food & Beverage Manager
Job Location: Eastern Region/Kwahu
Employment Type: Fixed Term (Renewable)
Report To: General Manager
Job Brief
- Position responsible for all the food and beverage operations, which includes all culinary, restaurant, and beverage.
- Oversees guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining standards and meeting or exceeding financial goals.
- Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency of all applicable food and beverage laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement business plan for food and beverage.
Job responsibilities
- Monitor day-to-day operations of the department to ensure maximum customer delivery.
- Assists in monitoring the profitability of functions to ensure quality and portion control while minimizing waste
- Review monthly profit and loss statement and prepare action plans for improvement as necessary
- Treat guests, associates, vendors and co-workers with professionalism at all times
- Regularly review and evaluate the degree of customer satisfaction of the Food&Beverages operations
- Maintain high standards of food &beverage quality, service&marketing to maximize profits through outstanding customer service
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
- Ensure par stock levels are maintained by calculating inventory ,ordering, and retrieving supplies

Required Skills or Experience
- Must have two (2) or more years’ of Food and Beverage supervisory experience required.
- Prior experience working in a restaurant environment
- Hotel experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A Bachelor’s degree required. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage
- Must have intermediate skills with Microsoft office products
