interrelated development challenges. FHI360 serves more than 70 countries and all U S states and territories. we are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions on a USAID-funded Ghana Partnership for Education: Learning project in Ghana.
Contracts & Grants Assistant - Accra
Position Summary
The Contracts & Grants Assistant will work in partnership with Learning's senior management to efficiently support the operation and maintenance of an effective contracts portfolio management system. Principal duties will be supporting the administration of contracts and grants to ensure full compliance with donor rules and regulations. The Contracts & Grants Assistant will perform specialized tasks from pre-award to close-out of a contract or grant as
assigned by supervisor and/or senior management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support for the management Of subawards and in the monitoring and development of systems to provide sound management control.
- Maintain complete and up to date files for all subawards in both physical and electronic formats.
- Support the closeout of all Learning subawards including coordinating subrecipient closeout visits, collection and filing of all relevant documents (electronic and physical) and completing all closeout checklists.
- Ensure that contract and sub-agreement documents and procedures are completed in a timely and correct manner and comply with FHI 360 and donor policies.
- Ensure, together with senior management, that implementing partners (IPs) comply with terms and conditions and procedures established in the contracting and granting documents.
- Develop award documents in coordination with the programmatic and budgetary elements of the documents to ensure compliance with FHI 360 regulations.
- Coordinate sub award monthly SFR reviews determining propriety and accuracy of all expenditures
- Coordinate updates in the Sub Award Tracking tool and monitor same for action.

Minimum Requirement
- A degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field
- Minimum three years of progressive working experience in contracts and grants management in related organizations and legal background preferred.
- Experience working with an international organization is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel and other cloud-based data storage capacity such as SharePoint.
