Job Description
- The development, implementation and management of the overall company security strategy
- Develop and implement policies, standards and guidelines related to company security.
- Liaise with government security agencies and conduct intelligence gathering on crime trends and update employees accordingly
- A focal point for security events and emergency response planning and execution
- Oversee the continuous monitoring and protection of company assets.
- Evaluate suspected security breaches and recommend corrective actions (including incidents involving contractors)
- Oversee the development and implementation of security awareness and training program
- Conduct security audits, risk assessments and submit report to the manager for consideration
- Define and implement an ongoing risk assessment program that will define, identify and classify critical assets, threats and vulnerabilities regarding the assets with protection measures
- Conduct investigations and submit reports on security incidents
- Perform any other task.
Required Skills or Experience
- A degree from a recognised tertiary institution with a minimum of 5yrs' relevant work experience at a similar position or a minimum of ten (10) years Military/Police experience in a senior leadership position.
- A thorough knowledge of private security standards and procedures.
- Good written and oral command of the English language
- Multinational cultural experience desirable
- Excellent Staff Management Skills
- Good MS Office application Knowledge
- Drive with a valid Ghanaian driving licence
