Elidel Prestige Ltd (EPL), an oil and gas recruitment and manpower management company, is recruiting the following positions on behalf of its client, Aker Energy. Aker Energy AS was founded in February 2018 and is established as the newest member of the Aker Group. The E&P company aims to become the offshore oil and gas operator of choice in Ghana. It is characterised by the entrepreneurial and flexible organisation that is synonymous with member companies of the Aker Group. Aker Energy is now operational with offices in Accra and Oslo, Norway.

We are already progressing the first offshore development project towards final sanctioning through an application for Plan of Development in first half of 2019, with the bold ambition of producing First Oil in fourth quarter of 2021.

We are now looking for a Drilling Engineer and a Completion Engineer to strengthen our organisation to support development of our oil discovery offshore Ghana.
Completion Engineer
Key responsibilities and tasks
- Participate in field development and planning through the early phases of the field.
- Prepare the completion part of the Well Programme for the well, supervise the operation, analyse the performed work and contribute to the experience transfer and continuous improvements in the well project
- Support development completion/drillinq team in delivery of well Requirements
- Develop Sand management and fluid strategy plan for the field development
- Perform completion engineering services in the well project, onshore and offshore, to accomplish the established objectives and plans.
- Actively participate in relevant technical networks, screening of new equipment and methodology for completion
- Prepare cost & time estimates
Qualifications / Personal Attributes:
- Bachelor's degree or master's degree from a recognised university in a Relevant Engineering discipline
- Over 3 years well engineering & operational experience
- Preferred experience includes deep-water/ West Africa completion / drilling experience, as well as experience working in remote locations and new country start-ups.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and interpersonal skills
