The Corporation requires the service of staff to fill the vacant position as Estate Officer.
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for the maintenance of the Corporation's premises, infrastructure, equipment, furniture and other assets.
DUTIES:
- Provide accommodation, stores and domestic facilities
- Ensure repairs and maintenance of buildings, furniture, offices and household equipment/appliance
- Maintain an inventory of the assets of all movable and immovable assets
- Advise management on technical aspects of works and projects
- Initiate contracts and maintain contract register of all projects
- Maintain a register of all contractors and pre-qualified consultants
- Advise on general land policy
- Assist in procurement, repair and maintenance of the assets and materials
- Compile and submit returns as required to the HR & Admin. Manager
- Attend works progress meetings and submit progress report on ongoing projects
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Superior

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates for the post of Estates Officer (Civil Works) must possess a degree in building Technology or Land Economy or Estates Management equivalent professional qualification.
Preference shall be given to candidates with professional recognition though certification, a sound knowledge of accommodation , stores, accounting and procedures and good computing. Must possess at least 4 years experience.
