SGS Ghana is looking for a Business Development Manager for its Agriculture, Food and Life (AFL) Division.
Main Responsibilities
The suitable candidate will be performing the following role under the following key reas of specialization
• Research, broaden and grow the market for SGS Agricultural Service Business Unit
• Responsible for the planning, monitoring, co-ordination, supervision and control of all operational activities under fumigation, Agri Inspections, GIS and Weighbridge business portfolios
• Development and implementation of Business Plans and Business level strategy for all departments under his responsibility
• Responsible for the profitable growth of the departments under this control
• Responsible for the proper management of the operational expenses and revenue growth for the departments
Qualification required & experience
• A minimum of First Degree in Agricultural Science (MBA an added advantage)
• At least 4 years of management skills, including experience in PowerPoint presentation, Business development, budget preparation and strong financial analytic skills
Required Skills
• Strategic Management, Sales and Marketing Skills
• Personal interest for Natural Resources Management
• Demonstrated team player working as a real team rather than in independent expert
• Knowledge of all facets of Project management in large forestry projects
• Knowledge of auditing is an asset
