A reputable investment advisory company requires the services of an experienced Investment Analyst.
A successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Conducting due diligence on companies and identifying potential partners for investors.
- Monitoring the financial performance of the investee Rural community banks and SMEs;
- A the liquidity position of the bank and making decisions on advances;
- Keeping up to date with market developments, new investment products and all other areas that can affect the markets, e.g. movements in the economies of relevant countries;
- Monitoring the bank’s investments;
- Ensuring that prudential returns are prepared and submitted;
- Financial modeling and projection
- Ensuring provision for bad and doubtful loans;
- Reviewing the operational budget; ensures that accounts are prepared for audit;
- Ensuring that all compliance regulations are met;
- Ensuring that policies and manuals are updated and implemented;
- Analysing financial information relating to specific companies, e.g. company results, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow statements to determine how an organisation is positioned to deliver for investors;
- Monitoring the financial news using specialist media sources;
- Timely reporting
Salary: Attractive
Required Skills or Experience
- At least a Master’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or related field.
- Mandatory: Must have completed all Ghana Stock Exchange Securities courses.
- At least five (5) years working experience in similar position.
- Must be capable to take on a management role
- Strong financial analysis and report writing skills are required.
- Must have experience and good knowledge on impact investment, rural investment, foreign direct investment and fund management
- Must have good researching skills
- Must be a dynamic, self-motivated person able to drive projects without supervision
