A reputable international engineering and maintenance company, Southey Contracting LTD, seeks to receive your curriculum vitae for the following position: Boilermakers
Qualification Required & Experience
• Must be able to do profile developments
• Must be able to read fabrications drawings
• Must be able to compile material list from drawings
• Must be able to make weld preparation as per relevant weld procedure specification
• Must be able to work accurately
• Must be able to determine weld gaps during assembly of structures
• Must be able to identify material grades
• Must be able to know how and where to install stoppers and strong back plates
• Must be able to identify various steel profiles centrelines
• Must have knowledge of steel fabrication tolerances
• Must be able to tack weld and assemble structures
• Must be able to identify the appropriate PPE for the respective boiler making tasks
