Job Description: Responsibilities & Requirements
Responsibilities
• Supporting the GIZ Governance Programme's initiative to provide professional advice and input to the development and implementation of measures which strengthen domestic revenue mobilization in Ghana
• Managing knowledge fo facilitate effective and efficient information use in the component
• Managing information flow around meetings and events in preparation and follow-up
• Ensuring compliance with regulations for document management and shared calenders
• Facilitating administrative and logistical procedures for component activities in coordination with technical advisors and the GIZ administration team
• Collecting, analyzing and filing data for monitoring and evaluation purposes
• Independent research work on topical issues in domestic revenue mobilizations
• Other tasks as required
Qualification Required & Experience
Required qualifications, competences and experience
• Master's degree in economics, public administration, business administration or a related field
• At least basic knowledge and a strong interest in the topics of public finance, revenue policy, tax and customs administration, governance, development economy or political economy
• Motivated team player with an organised, independent, systematic, detail and goal - oriented work approach. Ability to quickly grasp complex issues
• Relevant practical experience in international cooperation, governmental institutions or research
• Very good working knowledge of MS Office (In particular outlook, excel, PowerPoint, Word)
