Job Title: Agronomist Project Assistant based in Sunyani
Report to: Project Manager
Report to (functional) : Project Manager
Area: Program
Main Purpose
• Improved technical skills and facilities in organic agriculture, handcraft production and tourism. Assist in all tasks related to the projects on going in Sunyani
Main Tasks
• Organizing and follow technical trainings paths in organic agriculture for beneficiaries
• Organizing ToT trainings
• Implementing rural activities in BAR
• Greenhouse constructions and follow up
• Improving greenhouse production technology and bio-entomology
• Drawing-up new CBT-curricula and delivering innovative TVET trainings in organic
• Organizing and delivering tailored TVET trainings in black soap production, tomato processing and catering for tourism
• Assist the Project Manager in all project tasks and activities
• Work in strict relation with local partners
Qualification Required & Experience
Requirements
• Education: Essential diploma or professional qualification in agronomy
• Experience: Work experience in partnership building and management (at least 2 years)
• Languages: English and Twi.
• Knowledge: Essential computer literacy (word, excel)
• Competences: Team work, flexibility
Conditions
• 1 year contract with 3 months probation period
• Starting 15th March 2019
