Job Description
Responsibilities & Duties for Remote Bogger Operator
- Actively promote safety culture and hazard awareness and ensure relevant mining and other statutory codes and regulations are in full force at the work place.
- Maintain safe and efficient remote loading and conventional bogging practices.
- Train the production loader team in operating, organizing and planning the shift, meeting weekly targets and maintaining a high standard of work.
- Provide competency assessments and operational improvement plans for the production loader operators.
- Perform and document walk-around pre-shift inspections and monitor instrument gauges frequently.
- Ensure all task activities follow and are aligned with standard operating procedures, safe work instructions and company policies and procedures at all times.
- Perform other duties as reasonably assigned by your supervisor or his appointee.
Recommended For You:
Required Skills or Experience
- Must possess at least SHS Certificate or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
- Advance knowledge and experience with the operation of Remote Boggers
- Currently employed in an underground operation as a Remote Bogger Operator
- Must have at least five (5) years’ working experience at Underground and 3 years as a Remote Bogger Operator.
- Self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and good personal behavior.
- Results oriented and meets deadlines.
- Must possess a valid Ghanaian driver's license/Operating Permits and defensive driving skills
