Yara Ghana was established in 2007 to strengthen the quality and depth of input supply and related services along agricultural value chains to increase the productivity of Ghanaian farmers.
Yara Ghana is looking for an Operations Supervisor to join it’s team. The position will be based at our Tema Terminal and will report to the Production Manager.
Responsibilities
Oversees, manages and leads a section of plant operations. Reviews plant processes, sets operational priorities and optimizes people resources to improve achieve plant optimization, production efficiency and achieve annual objectives at the necessary safety and quality standards.
Profile
•A minimum of five (5) years working experience in a similar role.
•First degree or HND in Mechanical/Electrical or Production management or Logistics.
•Computer literate- Knowledge of MS Office suite.
•Be able to communicate well both in writing and oral English. Good report writing and good presentation skills.
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
•The position requires an accurate, methodological and systematic approach to equipment operations with a high focus on Health and Safety.
•Knowledge and experience in Lean Methodologies including the use of the OEE tool would be an advantage.
