Job Description
- Accounting for all transactions – Warehouse Stocks and expenses while maintaining appropriate ledgers and accounting processes.
- To ensure compliance with Financial and Cost Accounting Systems and Financial Policies.
- To participate in periodic audits of systems, accounting records, accounting practices and internal controls with a view to improve accounting, controls and tighten leakages.
- To ensure timely submission of statutory returns-PAYE, SSNIT, VAT et cetera.
- Preparing for and liaising with auditors to ensure a timely yearly audit.
- Managing finance/accounts for stock and sale operations.
- To monitor and highlight deviations from budget on overheads and determine corrective action with the Finance Manager
- Coordinating with sales teams on receivables and payable
Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance or Professional Accounting Qualification.
- 2-5 years of functional experience with technical knowledge of cash management, and financial analysis processes.
