Job Description
Designation: Business Analyst
Reporting into: To the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Job Location: Ghana, West Africa
Contract Type (Full Time- Permanent/Temp): 2 Years Contract Renewal based on Performance
Visa Availability (if applicable) Yes Applicable (including working permit)
Experience (in no. of yrs) : A minimum of 5+ years experience in business analysis, 10+ years in technology development and deployment or related field.
Job Responsibilities / Key Result Areas (KRAs):
I. Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
ii. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
Iii. Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
iv. Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
v. Performing requirements analysis.
vi. Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
vii. Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
viii. Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
ix. Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff.
x. Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff.
xi. Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
xii. Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
xiii. Performing user acceptance testing.
xiv. Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
xv. Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
xvi. Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
xvii. Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
xviii. Managing competing resources and priorities.
xix. Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Qualification:
A Masters Degree in Software Development, Computer Engineering,
Project Management or related field.
Certification: IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
Experience: A minimum of 5+ years experience in business analysis, 10+ years in
technology development, implementation and deployment or related field.
Skills: MS SQL Server, Documentation development throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC), Presentation Preparation, Experience with SharePoint, SQL, Nintex and BPM tools.
