A leading Freight and Logistics Limited seek to employ a result-oriented, self-motivated and dynamic experienced Financial Accountant for its Head Office in Tema. The incumbents will both reports to Head of Finance.
Core Responsibilities:
- Accounts Staff crane activities during the day.
- Supervises to ensure all monies receipts and payments are lodged in the appropriate accounts.
- Monitors cash on hand
- Prepares Bank Reconciliation Statement
- Supervises to ensure all journal and payment vouchers are raised and posted accurately and timely.
- Monitor to ensure withholding taxes are paid to GRA on timely basis
- Records, classifies and file appropriately all purchase of fixed assets.
- Prepares Financial Statement
- Supports the Finance Department in People Management issues
- Supports Finance Department in development of Quality, Environment, Health & Safety policies, objectives and targets.
Required Skills or Experience
- Minimum of a BSc. Administration in Finance or Accounting
- Must have the ability to prepare and interprets Financial Statements.
- Must have excellent knowledge of Accounting Software preferably Tally and SAP.
- Eight (8) years progressive work experience in Financial Management.
- Must have experience in performing people management duties
- Must have well organized posture with particular attention to detail.
- Ability to supervise minimum of five (5) employees
