You will be responsible:
- Developing and executing the annual marketing plan. This includes negotiation with suppliers for the best rates.
- Tracking spend as per agreed plans to stay within budget.
- Setting monthly commercial targets and trade deals in coordination with the distributor’s team.
- Developing the value chain from factory to consumer price.
- Analyse the market performance and keep track of what the competition is doing.
- Overlooking the distributor sales and merchandising team’s performance and presence across Ghana. This implies running regular inspections and market visits to meet with customers.
- Manage our brand visibility and secure promotional space at Modern Trade and Traditional Trade.
- Stock Management, prevention of near expiries, and proper storage of POSM.
- Timely orders and forecasts to ensure 60 days’ stock coverage at the distributor warehouse.
- Identify opportunities in terms of introducing new products, value chain gaps, and in store execution.
- Monthly Business Review reporting to the regional manager.
- Monthly Sales Planning
Requirements
· Minimum of 5 years of experience a similar role, preferably at a multinational FMCG company
· Experience in Marketing and management of sales teams and merchandisers.
· Strong command of English
· Mastery of Excel and power point skills
· Fit to work in competitive environment and ready to travel across Ghana.
· University degree in Business, Economics, or Marketing.
