Gino provides a wide range of quality products to African families: tomato paste and mix, seasonings, pasta and rice among other products.
Role & Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Consumer Insights Regional Manager ofr our Africa business. The incumbern will be responsible for launching the CI activity in Africa region and creating and leading the new CI team, as well as overseeing all the ongoing strategy implementation afterwards.
Tasks:
Governance and process:
- Revise CI protocol (communication, innovation, product) for Africa of Jumbo and adapt to Gino
- Roll-out best practices to Gino
- Lead, implement and validate all researches from early stage to end
- Define CI common tools per Business Units (briefings, reports..)
- Lead Budget definition, implementation and controlling
Lead the local CI team:
- Create and recruit a solid CI team for Africa
- Training new comers for CI
- Education and support regional team in strategic thinking and approach
Complete the key CI pool of suppliers for Africa specially qualitative research
Close agreement with TNS for regional accounting
Monitoring:
- Build a unique data base for market dynamics
- Re-challenge current sources of market dynamics per Business unit (pointage, Nielsen…)
- Stablish tracking tools to follow up key launches
Africa start plan:
- Participate in defining the strategy of core categories (tomato, Deep dive in mayo and Taste Enhancers)
Innovation projects:
- Taste Enhancers: Cubes Nigeria, Seasonings WA, Tablets Ghana
- Tomato: tomato-mix implementation, flexi packs, tomato peppe onion
- New platforms: noodles Algeria and protein intake
