Job Description
- Location: Dansoman
- Reporting to: Office Administrator , cc: General Manager
- Key Relationships: Senior Designer, External Printers, Designers and Editors, Production Manager, Funding Tea
The Online Sales and Marketing Officer will play a key role in supporting the marketing and production of Custom and Prints products and resources. S/he will also implement compelling sales pitches to high value client aspects of the wider communications strategy – writing and editing material for internal and external audiences, and developing/updating content on the organisation’s website, client management and supervising job delivery processes. Social Media Knowledge is relevant.
Job Purpose
The post holder will be in charge of recruiting and increase the customer base with high value clients. He or she will support the General Manager in the implementation of Marketing and Communications strategy. He must be flexible, amiable and be goal driven in achieving monthly sales targets for a variety of print related and apparel products. Must represent the company at key networking events and a thoroughly knowledge of client service and product marketing is will be an added advantage.
Key areas of responsibility
- Management and frequent communication with Custom and Print New and existing customers
- Building client list through company whatsapp line. Collection of personal data and sales history on each existing and new customer to aid in new sales pitches
- Client Management and selling of products and services to meet sales target
- Records keeping of sales made for monthly audit
- Working with the Designer to create results oriented media campaigns online to keep the company brand fresh, unique and appealing to its client base
- Daily client management and reporting to General Manager on Consumer preferences
- Curate and maintain new database of clients and products of the company

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
- Annual salary range: 7,200 GHC gross per annum
- Pension (if any): 7% commission on every sale made
- Leave entitlement: There are 15 holidays a year (Jan-Dec) in addition to relevant public holidays
- Work week: Standard working week. However, the demands of the job are likely to be such that a willingness to work longer hours, as required, will be necessary
Salary range
- 600 Ghc Monthly Net
- 3 months’ Probation
- 7200 Ghc gross per annum upon confirmation.
- 7% commission
- Addition per sale made
Required Skills or Experience
- At least two years’ relevant experience in a publications production and/or communications role, ideally within the Print sector. Relevant but not a prerequisite
- Excellent written and spoken English,
- Knowledge of design and printing processes is a plus
- Well organised with meticulous attention to detail,
- Calm and adaptable personality
- Ability to work on own initiative and within a team
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload with competing deadlines
- Excellent command of Microsoft Word with an aptitude for design/layout
- Experience of using Adobe Suite Relevant but not a prerequisite
- Sales experience is key. Relevant but not a prerequisite
- Relevant qualifications in communications , administration, marketing or Logistics is a plus
- A university education in the relevant field is an added advantage
